About PASF

The Performing Arts Scholarship Foundation (PASF) was formed in 1982 by the late Mrs. Lincoln Dellar to provide aid to deserving vocal and instrumental students with professional potential who live and/or study in the Santa Barbara area. Its flexible funding policies enable it to provide deserving students with funds for use in their many different career development needs, such as tuition at an established institution, study with a master teacher, instrument improvement, audition expenses, etc.

PASF established a scholarship program consisting of annual auditions, culminating in a formal competition with professional judging to determine the amount of scholarship to be awarded. Performing arts professionals contribute their time as consultants and judges.

To do the greatest good with its funds, PASF devotes its entire resources to performing arts recipients. Dedicated volunteers provide all administrative responsibilities.

PASF has recently expanded its scope of assistance in the Santa Barbara community by giving grants to vital, local performing arts groups. This support enables these non-profit organizations to expand their educational outreach and helps to allow them to present first-rate musicians to our community.

The Board of Directors of PASF is dedicated to supporting young, talented musicians in the local community today and performing artists in the worldwide community tomorrow.
